I am behind with the tales from my 5 year old... Trying to gather them all here!


Sitting at the table, eating dinner.  Coop pipes in with, "Daddy, you are soooo last month."
What in the world???

After surprising him with a trip to KC in December,
"I'm not just surprised.  I'm WOWED!"


Working out with his Daddy at the gym and comes home to show me, excitedly the "progress" in his physique.
"Look at the lumps I brought home for you, Mommy! Pretty soon my arms won't hold all the new ones..."

Accidentally scratched his brother in the car, came home and it was getting late.  He took his baby brother and sat him in the recliner, covered him up with no-less than 4 thick blankets, gave him his Elmo and sippy and then disappeared.  Came back a few minutes later with a band-aid, peeled it off, stuck it on his face then leaned in real close and whispered,
"I love you so much bubba, I will never make you bleed again."
I melted.  Watched the whole thing from another room, and just melted with the sweetness of it.

Came out of children's church last week,
"Guess what I learned today?"
"What?"
"Did you know you are supposed to listen to your parents and do what they tell you?!?" (Like he was completely shocked by it!)
"Reeeeaalllllyy.... NO KIDDING.  So, I am not the only one who says that?"
"Nope, for reals, mom."
Hahahahaha.... We will see....

To his daddy...
"You smell like a monkey's armpit.  Maybe worse."
